Owen, not to be outdone by his little sister, proceeded to draw what is probably his second or third attempt in his life at people. Not bad! He's got a fascinating method. For starters, I gave him the MagnaDoodle upside down so the string would be on the correct side for his left hand. So he drew upside-down so the finished drawing would be right-side-up. Then look at the people. The heads are outlines with hair (and nothing else), but the "neck, body, legs" are all just shading -- no outlines! I've never seen a child draw this way. Download
